Greetings all… I’m a drummer, writer, lifelong music lover, occasional philosopher, health and fitness enthusiast, news junkie, and incurable storyteller. Music is very high on my list, which is why I started this band. Little did I know that I would be the guy playing in a band with four imaginary musicians. Welcome to my blog…
Just Loud Enough is a band that exists somewhere between music, storytelling, and my overactive imagination. I’m the drummer who wanted to get back into playing/making music and somehow ended up with four musicians that only exist in my head. But thankfully my fellow bandmates, (Marko, Mike, Steve, and Jessica), have all agreed to overlook that. I also have a new member of the team to introduce, actually he’s not new, he’s been with me since the start. His name is Jack Quill, and this blog would not exist without him. You can learn more about him here.
But the music is only part of it. Perhaps the largest part of it, but nonetheless, it’s still just a part of it. I’m also big into storytelling, writing, politics, health, fitness, and a ton of other things. I don’t know exactly where this blog is going but I’m ok with that. Maybe someday I’ll figure out whether this is really a story about the band I created, our music, the people in it, or maybe it’s all about me, the guy sitting behind the drums writing about them. For now, I’m just going to enjoy the ride, make music, write some articles and stuff in my Free Screech section, and see where my bandmates and my overactive imagination take me. To be continued…
