For Mike and Steve, Judo has been part of their lives for almost as long as music. Years of training earned them their black belts, but these days some of their favorite time on the mat is spent passing that knowledge along to the next generation. Whether they’re demonstrating a throw, correcting a grip, or teaching a youngster how to fall down and get right back up, the brothers bring plenty of patience and laughter to the dojo.
They know the lessons go far beyond judo. The confidence, discipline, respect, and perseverance are carried long after the gi comes off. For Mike and Steve, sharing a lifetime of training with kids who are just beginning their own journey is one of the best ways they know to give something back.
