For Jessica, a perfect day doesn’t need a stage, a keyboard, or a microphone. Give her some sunshine, a surfboard, a cooler full of food, and her two kids, and she’s exactly where she wants to be. Between the rehearsals, recording, and everything else life throws at her, she makes spending time with them a priority, and judging by the smile on those two kids, they wouldn’t want it any other way.
Beach days are a favorite: her son, (Nathan), is usually headed toward the water with his snorkel before the umbrella is even up, while her daughter, (Valerie), is perfectly happy hanging out with Mom and soaking up the sun. Jessica may love making music, but these two are her world. As far as she’s concerned, the best memories she’ll ever make won’t come with an audience or an encore.
